export all responses to a readable format

right now when i use mix of multiple checkbox and long text fields the export file (when i want to analyse all responses) is a totally unusable mess...

it would be great if we could have export to excel or pdf that presents the data in readable format.

If we could choose columns to export it would be even greater

That's why I wrote to just open it in Excel. When I open the CSV in Excel the columns and contents look fine. And usually, Excel is capable of opening CSV files without messing things up. But I'll check if exporting via .xls has any direct improvement and we may add an option to select the format.

ok, strange but my Excel opens the file malformed but my Synology Drive shows the preview properly, maybe it's Excel problem not yours :)

the problem is you cannot "simply open in Excel" because if you have multiline text fields and multiple select fields in the form the csv file gets "corrupted" and Excel is messed up, the data are not in respective columns, see screenshot - i.imgur.com/VJnaYaO.png

The export file is a CSV which you can simply open in Excel. In a future update, we will add an option to select the columns. PDF export is currently only possible manually and one at a time. We may add a way to export multiple / all responses as PDF in a future update.
